As a family doctor with a multicultural background – born in the Netherlands, raised in Sweden, and educated in Prague – I bring a deeply human, globally informed approach to medicine. Since 2014, I’ve been committed to providing compassionate, accessible care that meets people where they are – physically, emotionally, and culturally.
After settling in Madrid, I completed my residency in Family Medicine at Hospital Universitario Infanta Sofía in Madrid, alongside a Master’s in Emergencies, Urgencies, and Catastrophes from CEU-San Pablo. My training equipped me with advanced skills in lifestyle medicine, cardiovascular risk management, palliative care, and diagnostic ultrasound, tools I use daily to support patients in living healthier, more empowered lives.
I’ve worked across rural communities in the Netherlands and Madrid’s public healthcare system, gaining a deep appreciation for the diversity of patient needs and the nuances of different healthcare models. These experiences have shaped my belief that listening, truly listening. is the foundation of good care.
With fluency in English, Dutch, Spanish, and Swedish, I easily connect with people with diverse backgrounds, creating a safe and inclusive space. Whether it’s guiding a patient through a diagnosis or helping a family navigate preventive care, I strive to make medicine feel personal, clear, and understandable
